Help Protect the Rights of Bloggers

Since the inception of blogging, we now have a truly free press. Individuals are able to report and sound off on the issues that affect us on a daily basis without the constraints of sponsor pressures with which the major media outlets deal. There is a movement, however, that is looking to restrict or curtail the liberties bloggers have enjoyed.

Because of this reality, I've donated to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and I've placed a 'button' in the sidebar of this blog to encourage all of you to donate and support this organization. They are fighting for bloggers everywhere, trying to make sure our free speech rights are not infringed upon.
