Leave it to a bunch of "concerned" women to come up with this one, lol. Still reeling from the passage of the Hate Crimes Bill, an unnamed member of the CWA staff has an article up on the site dealing with some perceived, semantic problems with the bill. What problems could they possibly be talking about, you ask? Well, here's a quote...
"H.R. 1592, the "hate crimes" bill just passed by the House, defines "gender
identity" vaguely as "actual or perceived gender-related characteristics." The
bill, however, does not offer a definition for "sexual orientation." In one
ironic way, that makes it the more honest of the two bills. While ENDA covers three "sexual
orientations," 23 "sexual orientations" actually exist."
What follows this excerpt is a list of what CWA is calling "sexual orientations," including pedophilia, necrophilia and beastiality. Once again, homosexuals are lumped into the same stereotypical category as child molesters and the like. I suppose those poor, concerned women are losing hours of sleep over this trumped up semantic issue. Honestly, I don't have much to add except this...Come on ladies...your dreams miss you!
